Description
The Chihiros WRGB VIVID III is a high-performance LED lighting system for planted aquariums, offering a high light output of 16.600 lumens and a colour temperature of 10.000 Kelvin. By combining RGB 3-in-1 LEDs with white LEDs, it creates a full-spectrum light that enhances plant growth and intensifies colours.
The lighting unit stands out with its extremely slim design, measuring just 23 mm in height without the fan. This makes it less obtrusive than many other high-performance LEDs and allows it to blend seamlessly into any aquascape without obstructing the view of the tank.
The integrated Smart Cooling Fan technology regulates the temperature automatically. The fan switches on at 38 °C and switches off again at 33 °C. Without active cooling, the maximum power consumption is 110 W; with a fan, up to 180 W is possible. As a result, the light intensity remains constant and the service life of the LEDs is increased.
The 120° wide beam angle provides uniform illumination throughout the tank, ensuring that even plants at lower levels receive adequate light. Optional shades are available for this light, reducing glare and directing the light specifically into the aquarium.
Shades on a WRGB Vivid III
Control is handled via the Chihiros app, allowing individual adjustment of brightness and colour mixing. Additionally, the app offers fan control, preset lighting modes, and password protection for secure connectivity. The lighting unit is designed for aquariums up to 90 cm in length and can be flexibly mounted using a suspension system. For a 180 cm tank, two units can be easily installed side by side and grouped within the app for synchronised control.
Mounting is possible with the included steel cable set, either on the ceiling or with mounts such as the Chihiros Holder Small RGB Vivid / WRGB2.

Product safety
Caution – Electrical Hazard
Warning notes:
- Never look directly into the LED light! It may harm your eyes.
- Never use the light under water.
- Do not use the product if the power cable or power adapter is damaged. Damaged parts must be replaced before reuse. Use only original parts from Chihiros.
- Children over 8 years of age or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, may use the product only under supervision or instruction to understand the risks. Do not allow children to play with, clean or maintain the product without supervision.
- If the LED module accidentally falls into water, unplug it immediately! Ensure the module is completely dry before reusing.
- The LED light becomes very hot during operation. Do not touch it until the plug has been disconnected and the unit has fully cooled down.
General notes:
- Always unplug the unit before maintenance or cleaning.
- For indoor use only.
- The power plug must remain easily accessible to disconnect power immediately in an emergency.
- Never cover the LED light or power adapter to ensure proper cooling.
- For your own safety, form a “drip loop” with the power cable to prevent water from running into the socket.
- Do not dispose of this product with normal household waste. Take it to a local collection point.
- Never place the power adapter inside or above the aquarium cover.
- The water tank should be covered when using a CO2 diffuser or air pump. The LED module is protected by acrylic, but should not come into contact with water.
Handling notes:
- Do not use the light until it is fully installed.
- The LED light must always be positioned at least 60 mm above the water surface.
- Never use the LED light inside an aquarium cover.
