Description
The CO2 Soda Adapter (TR21/4 to W21.8) from Chihiros is a connecting element designed for using CO2 cylinders with a TR21/4 thread on pressure regulators with a W21.8 connection thread. These types of cylinders are commonly known from systems such as Sodastream. The adapter enables the use of these smaller, widely available CO2 bottles in combination with standard CO2 pressure regulators.
The adapter is made from solid metal. The precisely manufactured threads ensure a secure and gas-tight connection. A suitable sealing ring is included and ensures that no CO2 escapes. The adapter is screwed directly onto the CO2 cylinder. The pressure regulator is then attached to the external thread of the adapter.
This adapter is intended solely for use with CO2 cylinders in an upright position. Operation in a horizontal position is not supported. For this reason, an angled adapter is not available. This limitation must be taken into account when planning the CO2 system.
The product is suitable for use in CO2 supply systems where space is limited or the use of small CO2 cylinders is preferred. The pressure regulator used must have a W21.8 connection thread.

Application
The adapter is screwed manually onto a CO2 cylinder with a TR21/4 thread. The included sealing ring must be inserted correctly. In the next step, the pressure regulator with a W21.8 connection is mounted onto the adapter. After tightening both threaded connections, the system is ready for operation. It must be ensured that the cylinder remains upright during use.
