Casuarina Cones are a natural decorative material for aquariums and terrariums. These small cones gradually release tannins and humic substances into the water, which may result in a light amber coloration. This creates a natural blackwater environment preferred by many tropical fish and shrimp species.

Besides their decorative function, Casuarina cones help support the biological balance in the aquarium. They provide a surface for beneficial microorganisms and offer shrimp and fry a natural grazing area.
