This moss was found in the same location as Bucephalandra motleyana "Pancuraji" on the island of Borneo. As far as we know it probably belongs to the genus Callicostella but its species identity is still unknown to us. It has an ascending to horizontal to slightly overhanging growth habit. The shoots are irregularly but densely ramified, and after some time, they form a dark green rather compact bush. The rhizoids of Callicostella sp. "Pancuraji" attach themselves to hardscape. The shoots grow to a width of up to 2.5 mm.
