Diese einzigartige, kleine Bucephalandra hat sich bei Hobbyisten im deutschen Sprachraum als Bucephalandra sp. "Rosmarin" verbreitet. Es handelt sich um die erst 2016 beschriebene Art Bucephalandra filiformis, die in den Maligan Highlands in Sarawak (Insel Borneo) heimisch ist. Sie kommt dort als Rheophyt (strömungsangepasste Pflanze) auf moosigen Sandsteinfelsen in der Flutzone von Bächen vor.
Die sehr schmalen, linealischen, relativ starren Blätter haben einen glatten oder nur schwach welligen Rand, im Unterschied zur ähnlichen Bucephalandra belindae mit gekräuseltem Blattrand. Bucephalandra filiformis ähnelt daher gewissen kleinen Aridarum-Arten, die Blütenstands-Merkmale passen jedoch eindeutig zur Gattung Bucephalandra. Die Blätter sind dunkelgrün mit rötlichen Tönen auf der Unterseite und den Blattstielen. Das Rhizom wächst gedrungen und stark verzweigt, dadurch entwickeln sich dichte Blattbüschel. Das Wachstum ist sehr langsam. Wir vermehren diese Bucephalandra seit über einem Jahr selbst in unseren Aquarien.
Bucephalandra filiformis verlangt einige Aufmerksamkeit in der Kultur. Sie kann auf Gestein oder Holz befestigt werden, wo sie sich mit ihren Wurzeln anheftet. So wie andere Bucephalandras entwickelt sie sich am besten bei mittlerer Beleuchtungsstärke, konstanter CO2- und Nährstoffversorgung sowie guter Wasserbewegung. Rasche Änderung von Wuchsbedingungen quittiert Bucephalandra filiformis zuweilen durch Ablösen der Triebspitzen und auch Absterben der Rhizome, darum sollte man sie am besten in bereits eingefahrene, gut laufende Becken setzen und in Ruhe lassen. Dies gilt besonders für Jungpflanzen aus In vitro-Bechern. Wenn die Pflanze gut gewachsen ist und mit der Zeit einen mehrköpfigen Bestand entwickelt hat, kann man Triebe zwecks Vermehrung abschneiden und neu befestigen.
Mit ihren Büscheln aus kleinen, sehr schmalen, glatten Blättern ist die "Rosmarin-Bucephalandra" eine Besonderheit unter den Aufsitzerpflanzen für das Hardscape. Anders als bei ähnlichen Pflanzen aus der Gattung Aridarum, die in letzter Zeit in den Raritätenhandel gekommen sind, ist ihre Aquarieneignung bereits erwiesen.

This was the most pleasant surprire from aquasabi, I got one small in vitro cup, it gave me around 30 rhizomes!
