Description
The Aquarium Münster Aquavital pH Powder-Pillow Test provides a simple and convenient way to determine the pH value in an aquarium. The pH value indicates the acidity of the water and is an important factor for the biological balance as well as the health of ornamental fish and aquatic plants. The test is suitable for measurements within a pH range of 5,2 to 8,4.
The powdered reagent is hygienically packaged in individual portions. Each test therefore uses exactly one portion of reagent, making the application particularly straightforward while offering better shelf life than conventional liquid drop tests.

Application
- Fill the test vial with 5 ml of aquarium water up to the marked line.
- Add the complete contents of one Powder-Pillow reagent sachet to the water sample.
- Gently swirl the test vial until the reagent has completely dissolved.
- Place the test vial on the colour chart and determine the pH value by comparing the resulting colour with the reference colour fields.
For the most accurate results, ensure that the test vial and measuring equipment are clean before each use.
Cleaning
After use, all test equipment should be cleaned thoroughly to prevent residues from affecting future test results.
- Rinse the test vial with clean water after use
- Remove all reagent residues completely
- Allow the test vial to dry before the next use
Do not use cleaning agents inside the test vial, as residues may influence water analysis results.
