Description
The Aquarium Münster Aquavital NO2 Powder-Pillow Test enables the simple and reliable determination of nitrite (NO2) levels in freshwater and marine aquariums. The reagent is supplied in hygienically packaged single-use portions, ensuring precise test results and a longer shelf life than comparable liquid drop tests. Its straightforward application makes regular monitoring of water quality particularly convenient.
Nitrite (NO2) is harmful to fish even at low concentrations. The nitrite level should be kept permanently below 0.1 ppm. If the value exceeds 0.2 ppm, corrective measures such as a partial water change and investigation of the underlying causes should be undertaken.

Aquarium Münster
Aquarium Münster is a German manufacturer of aquarium products with a company history dating back to 1926. The business originated from an ornamental fish breeding operation founded by the Pahlsmeier family and gradually developed from an international ornamental fish trade into a specialized producer of aquarium care products and treatments. A significant milestone was the development of FAUNAMOR, one of the first medications for treating white spot disease in ornamental fish. Today the company offers a range of water conditioners, fish medications, technical accessories and care products for aquariums and garden ponds.
Research, development and production are carried out in the company’s own laboratories, while an international distribution network supplies aquarium retailers worldwide.
