Description
The Aquael Ultrascape aquarium combination of aquarium set and base cabinet forms an elegant unit, which serves an immediately completely rounded start to a new aquascaping project.
The Ultrascape aquarium sets are characterised by ideal dimensions recommended by aquascapers and by high-quality accessories. The material used for the aquariums is Opti-Glass, a white glass that still offers a very high degree of transparency despite its strength that conveys safety. A height-adjustable lighting unit in a modern design, equipped with 2x Aquael Leddy Tube 10 W Sunny D&N and 2x Aquael Leddy Tube 10 W Plant are included in the scope of delivery of the UltraScape sets.
The lighting combines the two lighting spectra "Sunny" and "Plant". With a colour temperature of 7.000 Kelvin, the "Sunny" spectrum is based on daylight and enables optimum reproduction of the colours of the aquarium. The "Plant" spectrum with 9.000 Kelvin ensures fast and strong plant growth. In addition, the luminaire has 3 operating modes:
The "Day" mode is the default setting for the day. The "Sunny" & "Plant" modules are operated with 100 % power. In "Daybreak" mode, the day-night change is simulated. The "Sunny" and "Plant" modules are operated with 50 % power. In addition, the "Night" mode is switched on. The light appears bluish in Daybreak mode. Daybreak works well as a twilight lighting mode and is ideal for fish feeding - especially with shy stock. Night mode, stylises moonlight with highly dimmed luminosity and a high proportion of blue light. It allows a unique observation of the aquarium even after sunset and is also optimal for nocturnal animals.
Operating modes of the Leddy Tube lighting
Simply turn on and off to switch between Day, Daybreak and Night lighting modes within 5 seconds.
The ideal proportions of the UltraScape sets allow free design of aquarium layouts, which can be experimental or built according to classical rules. The transparent silicone, cut joints, polished, ground edges and precise glass bonding are important details of these aquariums.
The "Forest" version includes a black lighting unit, the "Snow" version is available with a white lighting unit.
The black satin-finished and front-veneered version of the Forest cabinet and the white satin-finished version of the Snow cabinet have been developed in line with current trends in interior design. All cabinet models offer sufficient space, even for larger external filters such as the Ultramax or Ultra Filter from AQUAEL. An additional element of the UltraScape cabinets are special openings on both sides for tidy hose management. They allow the filter to be fully enclosed in the cabinet and the hoses to be conveniently placed on the side wall of the tank. A hole at the back of the cabinet also allows all cables for the electrical system to be routed to the outside. A shelf also offers the possibility of storing aquascaping accessories and equipment in the cabinet.
All Ultrascape cabinets are equipped with height-adjustable feet. The UltraScape Cabinet 90 comes with 9 feet. The number of feet provides the necessary stability and even weight distribution as well as flexibility even with heavy loads.
The UltraScape aquarium combinations are available in two sizes: 90 x 60 x 45 cm and 60 x 30 x 36 cm.
