Description
Removes contamination on the water surface such as oil film effectively. Having oil or bacteria film on the water surface spoils the allurement of an aquascape. Vuppa-II, as the successor of the Vuppa-I is developed with ADA's original structure and eliminates such film effectively. And all hand-crafted stainless body does not spoil the appearance of the aquarium. It can be installed to the frame-less tanks with thickness from 4~15mm, and it produces excellent ability from small to large tanks.
Differently to the Vuppa I, the Vuppa II has a floting switch that prevents the pump to run dry when the water level sinks too low.
Note
The skimmer is connected by means of a USB type-A plug.
A USB power supply unit is not included in the scope of delivery.
The power supply should meet the following minimum specifications: 5V/1A

Its nicely built and skims ok, if a little weak. The float switch has a clicking noise which you can hear all the time. (read more)
