Description

APT F/FixLite from 2HR Aquarist is a gentle solution to unwanted algae in freshwater aquariums. This specially developed formula is based on a proprietary blend of carboxylic acids that selectively disrupt the life processes in algae cells without harming aquatic plants. Thanks to the thicker cuticle layer that aquatic plants possess, they remain unaffected by the treatment, while algae are effectively inhibited.
The active ingredients in APT F/FixLite react quickly with algae cells and ensure rapid inhibition of their growth. After application, the active components are completely broken down by the natural biological microorganisms in the aquarium. This prevents bioaccumulation in the aquarium ecosystem and ensures the long-term health and safety of the aquatic habitat. Specially developed for mosses, liverworts (Riccardia, Riccia, etc.), Vallisneria (ribbon grass) and more sensitive plants.

Application

Pause filter during application.
Spot dosing for individual areas up to 1ml per 10 l every 24 hours.
For a larger area, the limit of 1ml per 10 litres may be exceeded. Distribute a dose to the affected areas and then perform a 50% water change.
