Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red"

This is definitely a must-have in your palette if you are searching for a strong red accent with pink hues. Just don't mistake it for one of the bushy Rotalas: this one only shoots one new stem after pruning, so it'll never get bushy and is not suitable for mid ground. It is perfect for a background red accent though.

Fast grower (I'd say slightly faster than Rotala green) and not very demanding.

I received the plant in a good condition, didn't need anything fancy to prosper.

I just planted it in my small nano, with some co2 and jbl manado dark substrate, so nothing fancy.

Fastest grower from the pack and started to color red; not quite as in the picture but it seems it's on the right track.

Very fast growing, came with a lot of stems but short and doubled the bio mass in just a week in the tank. Looks perfect in the back of my nano, with some hemianthus in front of it for contrast. I slightly overdose my nutrients, so even with co2 and good light it's not quite as red as it would be with a shortage of nitrates. However, it's still a strong red hue with pink overtones. Very happy with the purchase, would recommend.
