Elderly Gravel vom Hersteller WIO ist ein natürlicher Flusskies mit zahlreichen Farbvariationen in einer ausgewogenen Mischung. Mit diesem Substrat lässt sich eine sehr naturnahe Atmosphäre im Aquarium gestalten. Eine Mischung der verschiedenen Körnungen erzeugt eine Tiefenwirkung im Scape und lässt das Layout sehr organisch wirken.
Elderly Gravel passt perfekt zum Elderly Stone und den Elderly Boulders. Im Kombination können ansehnliche Berghänge gestaltet werden oder auch feine Details des Scapes herausgearbeitet werden. Im Besonderen hervorzuheben ist die Kombination mit Heaven Sand, mit dessen Hilfe sich faszinierende Kontraste gestalten lassen.

Die kleinste Körnung kann für das Aquarium als alleiniger Bodengrund verwendet werden.

Kies ist zumeist ein passiver Bodengrund, welcher keine Nährstoffe für die Aquarienpflanzen bereitstellt. Deshalb kann bei der Einrichtung mit Kies als alleinigem Substrat, die Nutzung von Bodengrunddünger notwendig sein. Mittels Düngekugeln oder -tabletten können gezielt Stellen im Aquarium mit Nährstoffen angereichert werden, sodass vor allem stark wurzelzehrende Pflanzen wie Cryptocorynen davon profitieren können.

Hinweis

Alle WIOdecor Kiessorten sind vorgewaschen. Dennoch empfiehlt der Hersteller, den Kies vor der Benutzung kurz mit kaltem Wasser durchzuspülen, damit transportbedingter Abrieb abgewaschen wird. Außerdem kann so vermieden werden, dass Sandkörnchen beim Befüllen des Aquariums auftreiben.

May alter pH and kH levels in aquarium water. Regular monitoring of water parameters is essential.
Do not ingest. Keep away from mouth and eyes. In case of accidental ingestion or contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Keep out of reach of children. Adult supervision is required when children are handling or near the product.

General notes:

This product is composed of natural materials. Variations in colour, shape, size, and weight are inherent.
Regular monitoring of water parameters is recommended even when used as directed.

Handling notes:

Rinse thoroughly with potable water before use to remove dust or particles. Follow rinsing methods appropriate for your aquarium/terrarium setup.
Spread the gravel gently within the aquarium or terrarium to avoid scratching glass or acrylic surfaces.
Exercise particular care with acrylic tanks, which are more susceptible to scratches.
Avoid forceful pouring or dropping onto hard surfaces.
Do not throw or misuse this product. Never throw it towards people, animals, or fragile objects.
Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.
Dispose of packaging and unused material responsibly in accordance with local regulations. Do not release gravel or rinse water into natural watercourses or the environment outside the intended use.
