Description
Guemmer-Sand is due it's slight beige colour perfekt for hightlighting dark inhabitants and is for anyone who prefers a simple, nature look. Furthermore, the sand is water neutral, which means that the water values do not change undesirably. Thanks to the rounded edges, there is no risk of injury to fish or invertebrates on this substrate. This grain size is good for keeping armored catfishs and other catfishes because they can easily rummage through. Dwarf shrimps can also lift these small grains up so they can get to the food remains. This improves the water conditions of your aquarium in the long term. Nevertheless, the granules are permeable enough to supply aquarium plants with sufficient nutrients.
