Description
The substrate Dark Mountain by Greenscaping is made of pure volcanic rock, mined and manufactured in Germany.
This rock, originated in the German Eifel, is characterised by its porous structure which enhances the circulation of water around the substrate. This effect prevents the plant roots from rotting. At the same time, the substrate provides optimal assistance for the set up of hardscape due to its variously sized grains that promote wedging and thus strong hold.
Dark Mountain Substrate is washed under high pressure several times so that no cloudiness or dust limits the joy of a freshly set up aquarium layout.
It is available in different unit sizes and is best suited for bases up to 30 cm high. For all higher substructures, Dark Mountain Substrat XXL is recommended.
