Description
The EHEIM activated carbon mats are designed for adsorptive filtration in aquarium filters. They reliably remove chemical pollutants such as chlorine, medication residues and other unwanted substances from aquarium water.
The filter media are particularly suitable during the start-up phase of an aquarium or after medication treatment. The special activated carbon effectively binds dissolved pollutants, helping the water become clear and clean again quickly.
The activated carbon mats are precisely cut to fit various EHEIM external filter series and can be easily inserted into the filter. Use should be limited to approximately 4 weeks, after which the filter media should be removed or replaced.
